Medical schools reportedly defy Supreme Court ruling on DEI admissions

A new study shows that medical schools would rather put race before merit.

The study was done by a group of medical professionals called Do No Harm. Their research showed that instead of abiding by the Supreme Court’s anti-affirmative action law, “many in the healthcare establishment nevertheless remain ideologically committed to the principle of racial favoritism and reject the virtue of race blindness.”

The group said that schools continue to practice these principles under the moniker “holistic admissions” to keep affirmative action in place. The organizations that have committed to race-based admissions include The Association of American Medical Colleges and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Stanley Goldfarb at Do No Harm said, “There’s really no justification of this. Their responsibility is to the patients, to create the most qualified workforce that they can possibly create.”
