A record number of illegal immigrants have been arrested in the past 10 months.
Just the News reports that Swanton Sector Border Patrol agents have apprehended 15,000 migrants from 85 countries coming to the US through Canada since last November. Based on records, this year’s data shows the greatest number of illegal immigrants crossing within this time frame.
For comparison, in 2021, there were only 365 migrants arrested in the north.
The Biden-Harris administration has insisted that border numbers are down since the Trump administration, a false claim fact-checked by Center Square. Since 2021, when Biden took office, the number of illegal immigrants has only increased.
