Game 3 of the NBA Finals commenced Sunday night in Milwaukee, and the series got a bit more interesting.  Down 2-0, the Milwaukee Bucks took the crucial game over the Phoenix Suns by a score of 120-100 thanks to a dominating performance from their big man, Giannis Antetokounmpo.  The “Greek Freak” dropped 41 points, proving he has healed well from a scary leg injury that he suffered in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.  The Suns now hold a 2-1 lead over the Bucks.

Giannis spoke after the game,

I just read each possession at a time.  Sometimes, I’m going to be aggressive for two minutes straight. Sometimes, I’m not….Each possession, each time of the game, it’s different. I’m not planning what I do. I’m just trying to be out there, trying to take it a possession at a time, try to enjoy the game, try to make the right play.

The Bucks fell behind early but rallied thanks to two big runs, one at the end of the first half and one at the end of the third quarter.  They now have their sights set on Game 4 on Wednesday night in Milwaukee, with a chance to even the series at two games apiece.  Meanwhile, if Phoenix can win the next matchup, they will have the chance to win the Finals in front of their home crowd as the series heads back to Arizona for Game 5.

Game four tips off in Milwaukee at 9:00 EST on Wednesday.
