Nashville officers put on administrative duty over leaked manifesto

The Nashville police department has placed seven officers on administrative duty as it investigates who leaked the writings of Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale.

The department says the reassignment is not disciplinary and is meant to protect the integrity of the investigation. The officers’ names have not been released, but the department says they retain “full police power.” On Monday, conservative commentator Steven Crowder posted three images on social media that he says belong to the shooter’s journal.

Crowder says the images were taken by a detective in the aftermath of the shooting that left six people dead, including three children.
