New data shows that the fight for life has a long way to go, even after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
The Society of Family Planning, a pro-abortion nonprofit, published a report showing that abortion rates before and after the Dobbs decision were pretty much the same.
The monthly average for July through September last year was 81,000-88,000. That’s just slightly lower than the monthly average of 86,000 from April to June of 2022 before Roe was overturned.
The report reveals that, although numbers have dropped to nearly zero in states with bans, abortions increased significantly in states without bans, like Illinois and Kansas.
Additionally, data showed that the abortion pill has become more common, now making up for one in every six abortions nationwide.
