There’s been another bombshell in the news world this week, this time against the now-ousted CEO of NBCUniversal. Jeff Shell stepped down on Sunday after admitting to an inappropriate relationship with a woman at the company.
Meanwhile, parent company Comcast said they decided it was best after an investigation into Shell’s inappropriate conduct.
Deadline then identified the woman as CNBC anchor Hadley Gamble. They say there was an on-and-off relationship for over a decade.
But lawyer Suzanne McKie portrays a different picture. She says the investigation was triggered by Gamble’s complaint of sexual harassment and discrimination.
An internal Comcast document confirms allegations of harassment and that outside counsel verified the claims.
