Netanyahu plans to move away from Gaza, target Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced yesterday that the “intense” operation in Gaza is about to end, but he said that an agreement will be on Israel’s terms. However, he added that he is not ready to create a two-state solution.

Overall, Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza likely means that the IDF will concentrate its efforts on Iran-backed Hezbollah. Last week, the IDF confirmed that an offensive in Lebanon was approved after the terrorist group had increased its attacks on northern Israel.

Should Israel wage war against Hezbollah, thousands of fighters would join the terrorist group, according to officials from Iran-backed factions and analysts.
