Netanyahu reschedules delegation trip to White House

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to reschedule a delegation visit to Washington. Israeli and U.S. officials could meet as early as next week to discuss Israel’s controversial plans for a ground invasion in Rafah.

Netanyahu canceled the meeting on Monday after the U.S. abstained from vetoing a UN Gaza ceasefire resolution. Israel was angry the resolution didn’t make the release of hostages a condition for a ceasefire. The White House said it was “disappointed” by Israel’s cancellation.
