No Labels not running 3rd Party candidate

The independent political group No Labels announced it will not run a third-party candidate in the presidential race.

The group said in a statement yesterday that it couldn’t find a good enough choice who could unify Americans against both Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

The organization considered candidates such as former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

But the bipartisan platform isn’t going anywhere. The group said, “We will remain engaged over the next year during what is likely to be the most divisive presidential election of our lifetimes.”

No Labels says it will continue to “promote dialogue around major policy changes and call out both sides when they speak and act in bad faith.”

The group added that Americans remain “open and hungry” for an independent presidential run now more than ever.
