NRA officially endorses Trump at annual meeting

The National Rifle Association officially endorsed Donald Trump for president over the weekend. Trump was the keynote speaker at the NRA’s annual meeting in Dallas on Saturday. There he said gun rights are “under siege” by the Biden administration.

Trump also took aim at Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for calling the NRA a “terror group” in 2018 following the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Trump said he will be a “brick wall” for the Second Amendment if re-elected.

The NRA’s endorsement hardly comes as a surprise as the association endorsed Trump in both 2016 and 2020.
