While Donald Trump has been warned to tamp down the name-calling when it comes to his campaign, his Democrat opponents at the DNC did not shy away from that tactic.
Yesterday, Michelle Obama slammed Trump for inheriting “generational wealth” and for allegedly having racist reasons why he disapproved of her husband, former President Barack Obama. At one point, she claimed Trump feels threatened by two successful black people.
She then added that the current job Trump is seeking is a “black job,” likely referring to Trump’s earlier comment on illegal immigrants taking away opportunities from black people.
Her husband, Barack Obama, used a similar tone during his keynote speech when he attacked Trump’s billionaire status. After criticizing Trump’s handling of the border and the overturning of Roe v. Wade, he went on to praise Kamala Harris.
The former president championed Harris as someone who won’t be annoying like Trump was, and as someone who fights for people’s rights.
