Oreo warned of receiving ‘Bud Light treatment’

It looks like Oreo could be the next Bud Light – or at least that’s what some of its shareholders fear.

For years, the cookie company has been quite active in creating pro-LGBTQ marketing campaigns. But lately, it’s been taking it a step further. Last October, parent company Mondelez International co-sponsored the national convention of an LGBT activist group called PFLAG. It’s a group that actively pushes for transgender treatments for kids.

Mondelez has reportedly partnered with the organization for years, and one of its shareholders is calling for the company to cut off the partnership.

The National Legal and Policy Center aims to present a proposal warning shareholders that the company is endangering their profits with this partnership.

The watchdog organization cited the recent protest against Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Light as their reason for concern.
