A recent poll revealed that most U.S. adults are accepting of all religions despite the concerning rise in religious hatred amid the Israel-Hamas war.
The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty released its latest Religious Freedom Index, a study that showed over 90% of Americans support religious pluralism. That means having the freedom to practice one’s faith without fear of repercussions. About 86% of respondents said people should be able to express their religious beliefs even if it goes against common practices.
The Becket Fund concluded that this year, “American support for religious freedom is coming back strong after a COVID-era slump.”
