Biden faces protests at Morehouse College speech

President Joe Biden was the latest person to give a commencement speech to the graduating class at Morehouse College.

But the historically black college in Atlanta was unamused. One student called for a ceasefire in Gaza, which Biden applauded. He promised that he “heard” their voices and supported “peaceful nonviolent protests.” Biden then assured the audience that he called for an “immediate ceasefire” as well.

Others were seen turning their backs to the president during his speech, which included the Democrat narrative that black people were victims of American society.

Despite student disapproval, Biden finished his speech without any commotion. Some students had requested that the school rescind Biden’s invitation as commencement speaker. One student called his presence “insulting.”
