Six pro-lifers in Nashville could face up to 10 1/2 years in prison for peacefully protesting outside an abortion clinic.

According to the Daily Wire, the Department of Justice accused the protesters of violating the FACE Act and civil rights conspiracy following the protest in front of the clinic in 2021. All six attendees were found guilty on both accounts, but one protester said she had a change of heart since the protest.

At the time of the event, some of the attendees were seen singing hymns, while others encouraged women not to go through with their abortions.

The conspiracy charge can lead to 10 1/2 years in prison and a $260,000 fine, while the FACE Act violation could mean one year in prison plus a $10,000 fine.
