Russian President Vladimir Putin is warning the US and Britain that Western missiles inside Russia will be considered NATO’s entrance into the war.
Putin’s announcement comes as America and the UK were in discussions today over whether Kyiv should be allowed to use ally missiles on Russian territory. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov threatened the allies, saying Russia’s response “will be appropriate” to the US-British agreement.
The Western ally talks come amid Iran’s weapons export to Russia, which could help the eastern country make aggressive advances in Ukraine. Western officials say that although the diplomatic talks among NATO allies would likely not bring significant changes to the war, it would help Ukraine’s eastern front stand its ground against more advances from Russia.
