A new Congressional report is bringing focus back onto the border crisis under the Biden administration.

The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Integrity, Security, and Enforcement issued the report, which says that “at least 99” illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist were released into the United States.

According to the report, 34 others who were encountered and are on the terrorist watchlist are currently in DHS custody. There have been 250 illegal aliens on the watchlist encountered by Border Patrol between fiscal years 2021 and 2023.

The report also shed light on a story from June in which eight ISIS terrorist suspects were arrested across the nation. According to the report, some of these suspects were allowed into the U.S. after using the CBP One phone app. The report also found that immigration judges had granted bond to at least 27 illegal migrants on the watchlist.

Border Patrol has also reportedly encountered “tens of thousands of illegal aliens from countries that could present national security risks” in Fiscal Year 2024.
