Mainstream outlets quickly recovered from the chaos surrounding President Joe Biden’s unexpected resignation from his re-election campaign and replaced their doubts with swoon-worthy coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris.
According to the Media Research Center, 84% of coverage of the vice president has been positive, while Trump’s has been 89% negative on ABC, NBC and CBS. Harris has received 66% more airtime than Trump as well.
MRC reports that Harris’ positive coverage outnumbers “any other major party nominee”, while Trump’s coverage has been overwhelmingly negative. But according to a recent Rasmussen poll, 60% of voters believe the media is just trying to boost the vice president’s electability, and they see right through their tactics.
