It wasn’t long after Tim Walz’s nomination that many began critiquing him for his incredibly progressive agenda. Of note to pro-life individuals was his stance on abortion.
For example, LiveAction President and Founder Lila Rose wrote on X that Walz had “signed a law allowing the killing of preborn babies at any stage” as governor of Minnesota. Walz has been very vocal about his support for abortion, but his support of transgender care for minors is also raising some eyebrows.
Jim DeMint, chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute, remarked that Walz is “anti-school choice” and “pro woke transgender policies.”
Similar to abortion, Walz has been vocal about his support for kids to receive transgender surgeries. He signed a bill which made Minnesota a so-called “Trans Refugee State:”
