Republicans are blasting the Biden administration for the President’s recent budget proposal – claiming that it will add to the deficit.
Biden unveiled his $6.8 trillion dollar budget on Thursday. The President says it will be funded by massive tax increases on billionaires and capital gains.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy says the budget is “not serious.” Meanwhile, Louisiana Senator John Kennedy gave more colorful remarks on what he thinks of Biden’s budget.
Republicans have yet to provide a counter-budget, but one is reportedly in the works.
