Trump prosecutor and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis faces a series of looming scandals. House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan subpoenaed Willis on Friday amid allegations that she is misusing federal funds.
A new audio recording from the Washington Free Beacon suggests Willis fired an employee after they warned her that one of her aides was planning to misuse a federal grant. But that’s not her only problem.
Willis has recently faced allegations of having a relationship with the man she hired as special prosecutor against former President Donald Trump. Willis confirmed those allegations to be true in a court filing on Friday.
She claims their relationship has done nothing to taint the case. However, Trump disagrees, calling the case a “scam” that has been “totally discredited.”
