Senator Donna Campbell on the ‘Lone Star Infrastructure Protection Act’

by ian

As reported by Samuel Case yesterday, the Texas Senate passed a bill that aims to protect Texas infrastructure by denying contracts with foreign entities that have been deemed dangerous to the United States. This bill was inspired by a Chinese billionaire with ties to the Chinese Communist Government who recently purchased a massive plot of land, supposedly for a wind turbine farm. A closer look revealed that the plot was close to an Air Force base, not to mention it was in an area that received little to no wind, and Texas legislators realized that their electric grid was left open for infiltration.

Texas Senator Donna Campbell, M.D. went on Financial Issues to speak with Dan Celia about the importance of such a bill, and how she and other legislators discovered the imminent threat to our national security.
