Vice President Kamala Harris awoke Thursday to undeniable evidence of the border crisis that she recently denied.

Two buses containing between 75 and 100 illegal immigrants arrived near Harris’s residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. Thursday morning, according to a Fox News report.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent the buses from Del Rio, Texas. The immigrants included people from Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia, and Mexico.

Several of the migrants said they thought the border was open, according to Fox News. Townhall.com tweeted a video of one immigrant saying it is open.

A non-governmental organization called Sanctuary DMV told the migrants they had set up a safe, temporary location for them at a local church.

“We’ve already set up a church and a location — a safe location for them to tell us where they need to go next, where they have relatives,” Marla Bustillos of Sanctuary DMV told Fox News.

The arrival outside Harris’s house comes on the same morning as reports that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis flew two planes full of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., a favorite vacation spot for rich Democrat politicians and donors, including former President Barack Obama.
