While Trump has been criticized by social conservatives lately, he has continued to signal his support for parental rights. Over the weekend, this took the shape of an appearance at the Moms for Liberty conference.
After highlighting his disapproval of school boards across the nation, Trump said he’s for “parental rights all the way.” When commenting on the FBI’s crackdown on conservative parents at school board meetings, Trump said he would make sure he changes that on his first day in office.
Trump also confirmed that he supports vouchers for private school tuition and other parent-friendly policies. The Christian Post reports that over 1,000 schools are okay with withholding information from parents concerning their children as of this reporting.
