Shortly before he made his appearance with Elon Musk for a two-hour interview, former President Donald Trump posted to his X account for the first time in almost a year.
In a slew of posts hours before the interview, Trump uploaded multiple videos showcasing advertisements for his presidential campaign. The ads varied from positive messages about Trump to attacks on his Democrat opponent.
Trump also posted a message amidst the slew of ads that asked readers if they are “better off now than…when I was president?”
The last X message posted by Trump was back in August of 2023, when he posted a photo of his Georgia mugshot. Before then, he had not posted anything on the platform following his account suspension in 2021 when the platform was still called Twitter.
