Trump tells Evangelicals to vote in 2024 elections, stands by Ten Commandments in public schools

Former President Donald Trump is now trying to win over Evangelicals. On Saturday, he spoke at a Faith and Freedom Coalition conference where crowds chanted U-S-A as he took the stage.

Trump urged supporters at the event not to sit on the sidelines this election. Trump also said he would commit to displaying the Ten Commandments in public schools while criticizing Democrats for not wanting it displayed.

He added on Truth Social that bringing back the Ten Commandments could be the first step to a religious revival that the US “desperately” needs.

Trump’s stance on the Ten Commandments comes after Republican Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry signed a school-choice bill into law last week which made provisions for the Christian laws to be displayed in public schools.
