Trump’s Bronx rally draws thousands

Thousands of Donald Trump supporters flocked to the Bronx yesterday for the former president’s first New York rally since 2016.

Only 3,500 people were allowed to enter the rally, but the campaign estimates more than 20,000 were gathered outside. During his speech, Trump lamented “a city in decline” while railing against New York’s soft-on-crime policies.

Trump’s ongoing hush money trial has forced him to hold rallies in areas close to Manhattan. Earlier this month, he drew a massive crowd of more than 100,000 people in Wildwood, New Jersey.
