U.S. accuses Russia of using North Korean missiles in Ukraine

The US and its allies are accusing Russia of violating sanctions with the use of North Korean missiles in Ukraine.

Seven nations released a joint statement condemning the use of the weapons in several recent attacks. They wrote that the three individual violations make “the world a much more dangerous place.”

The statement was released hours ahead of a Security Council meeting where the U.S. ambassador accused Russia of exploiting its position on the council.

The Russian diplomat responded that the accusations were propaganda from White House security spokesman John Kirby.
