Vatican clarifies Catholic Church’s stance on gender theory

The Catholic church has reaffirmed its position on sex-based gender.

Yesterday, the Vatican published a document called “Dignitas Infinita”, or “infinite dignity”, referring to a person’s God-given gender at birth. Pope Francis warned against “the age-old temptation to make oneself God” with the now popular quote-un-quote sex changes that largely plague the younger generations.

The document reads, “Regarding gender theory, whose scientific coherence is the subject of considerable debate among experts, the Church recalls that human life in all its dimensions, both physical and spiritual, is a gift from God.”

The Vatican reasoned that biological sex and gender can be “distinguished but not separated.”
